The Enigma Of Clouds : Daksha V

"The Enigma Of Clouds"

By Daksha V | August 2025

While on the road at night,
Feeling of a breeze so tight,
With an emptiness inside of me,
I look up, with something queer to see!
A perplexed feeling claws into my chest.

What are those figures, looming in the night?
Is it doom waiting above, faceless?
Giving no light, but roaming high,
Though utterly terrifying for some shy!
What are those? Creatures of darkness?

With a grey hue and melancholy view,
Just stationed up there, in a prestigious cue!
Makes fright crawl up under your skin,
Especially for those far from kith and kin.
No wonder kids go to bed so early!

But that just lasts for the duration of the night.
It is a different story when introduced to light.
It turns white, due to the sun’s rays,
Fondly overlooking the children’s play.
Maybe it was just taken over by fairies!

The sun playfully hides behind them,
Giving off shine like a real sparkly gem.
“What is it?” is a question to sow,
But I am convinced that all of you have come to know.
What a mysterious creature it is!
